VASIA and AME Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation with MOU Signing in Melbourne

It has been an energising and inspiring week as the Vietnam–Australia Startups & Innovation Association (VASIA) marked an important milestone in its mission to strengthen international collaboration. Representing VASIA members, President Anthony Phan attended and formalised a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Vietnam Military Enterprise Association (AME) in Melbourne, Australia.

The signing ceremony brought together leaders from both organisations to discuss shared priorities and long-term cooperation strategies. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyễn Hữu Thanh, Secretary General of AME, and Anthony Phan, President of VASIA, engaged in a productive working session where both sides aligned on key areas of collaboration.

The MOU outlines a strategic framework to foster deeper connections in business, commerce, innovation, and entrepreneurship between Vietnam and Australia. Both associations recognise the vital role of international partnerships in supporting enterprise development, enabling trade opportunities, and strengthening the startup ecosystems in both countries.

This cooperation is expected to create meaningful pathways for businesses, innovators, and young entrepreneurs—particularly in the next five years—as both sides commit to enhancing bilateral engagement and promoting sustainable economic growth.

With this milestone achieved, VASIA looks forward to implementing impactful initiatives and expanding opportunities for its members across borders.

Exciting developments ahead…
