Seminar on Safety Skills for Students: Enhancing Awareness and Self-Protection in the Digital Age

On 11 November 2025, the Vietnam – Australia Startup and Innovation Association (VASIA), in collaboration with the Office of Student Affairs – Saigon University, hosted a specialized seminar titled “Seminar on Safety Skills for Students” at Hall A, Saigon University, starting at 8:30 AM.

In the context of increasingly complex digital threats, psychological scams, and rising safety concerns for young people, this seminar aims to equip students with essential knowledge and practical skills to better protect themselves in both online and real-world environments.

Key Focus Areas of the Seminar

The program will provide students with updated and practical insights into:

  • Identifying high-tech fraud schemes and illegal multi-level marketing networks

  • Recognizing and countering psychological manipulation tactics

  • Strengthening information and bank account security

  • Developing escape and self-protection skills, as well as kidnapping prevention techniques
